Recognition

UN : Sometimes, I feel under-recognized.

The Buddhas : We recognize you.

UN : Thank you.

The Buddhas : It’s ok to not blare one’s trumpet. You’re doing great.

UN : Then why these pangs?

The Buddhas : What will you get from worldly recognition? Tell us that.

UN : Nothing, I see that. I can’t carry it forward.

The Buddhas : So drop it and move on.

UN : My work is all so hidden. I’m busy all day. However, nobody sees what I do.

The Buddhas : Are you in it for the joy of doing, or for showing others that you do and what you do?

UN : I enjoy what I do. I’m thankful for it. Sometimes, I wish to show it.

The Buddhas : It’s a question of critical mass.

UN : Meaning?

The Buddhas : Once good, meaningful work reaches beyond critical mass, the Universe is compelled to show it to as many as possible.

UN : And since i’m already…

The Buddhas : …doing good, meaningful work,… …, yes.

UN : I see.

The Buddhas : However, your focus must remain on your good, meaningful work.

UN : You mean the showing part is just a side-effect as far as I’m concerned?

The Buddhas : When you start focusing on the showing part, your good, meaningful work suffers.

UN : For lack of focus?

The Buddhas : Amongst other things. You do have an outlet, and are already using it to the max, btw.

UN : Outlet?

The Buddhas : As in pressure-cooker safety-hatch for any frustration.

UN : Chanting?

The Buddhas : Yeah, let it all out. Translate any frustration into intensity, length, stamina and output while chanting.

UN : As in shake the universe till it shakes.

The Buddhas : Yeah, shake it and make it…

UN : …show my work?

The Buddhas : And then don’t forget to keep your focus anchored on your good meaningful work.

UN : 🙂

The Buddhas : 🙂
