Recognition

UN : Sometimes, I feel under-recognized.

The Buddhas : We recognize you.

UN : Thank you.

The Buddhas : It’s ok to not blare one’s trumpet. You’re doing great.

UN : Then why these pangs?

The Buddhas : What will you get from worldly recognition? Tell us that.

UN : Nothing, I see that. I can’t carry it forward.

The Buddhas : So drop it and move on.

UN : My work is all so hidden. I’m busy all day. However, nobody sees what I do.

The Buddhas : Are you in it for the joy of doing, or for showing others that you do and what you do?

UN : I enjoy what I do. I’m thankful for it. Sometimes, I wish to show it.

The Buddhas : It’s a question of critical mass.

UN : Meaning?

The Buddhas : Once good, meaningful work reaches beyond critical mass, the Universe is compelled to show it to as many as possible.

UN : And since i’m already…

The Buddhas : …doing good, meaningful work,… …, yes.

UN : I see.

The Buddhas : However, your focus must remain on your good, meaningful work.

UN : You mean the showing part is just a side-effect as far as I’m concerned?

The Buddhas : When you start focusing on the showing part, your good, meaningful work suffers.

UN : For lack of focus?

The Buddhas : Amongst other things. You do have an outlet, and are already using it to the max, btw.

UN : Outlet?

The Buddhas : As in pressure-cooker safety-hatch for any frustration.

UN : Chanting?

The Buddhas : Yeah, let it all out. Translate any frustration into intensity, length, stamina and output while chanting.

UN : As in shake the universe till it shakes.

The Buddhas : Yeah, shake it and make it…

UN : …show my work?

The Buddhas : And then don’t forget to keep your focus anchored on your good meaningful work.

UN : 🙂

The Buddhas : 🙂

Do I Have a Hidden Agenda?

UN : Well, yes and no.
The Buddhas : Please clarify.
UN : I don’t have a hidden agenda in the way you might be thinking.
The Buddhas : But…
UN : I probably do have a hidden agenda in another indirect way.
The Buddhas : Continue.
UN : I am understanding that chanting for others gives greatest joy, during and after.
The Buddhas : So, now you’ve started churning out 100% for others sessions because…
UN : I’m doing it for the joy, but I’m not only doing it for the joy.
The Buddhas : Aha!
UN : No Aha. My intensity when I chant towards my personal issues is so immense…
The Buddhas : …that it borders on anger and asking for something negative, you fear?
UN : I don’t even want to take that chance.
The Buddhas : So you’ve stopped chanting for yourself?
UN : Perhaps just currently. Two issues are angering me. I don’t wish to dwell on the anger.
The Buddhas : Just chant without the anger part.
UN : Yes, currently I’m succeeding at that when I chant for others.
The Buddhas : And when you chant for yourself, the pent up anger wells up?
UN : Yes.
The Buddhas : So you chant for others to avoid anger welling up when chanting for yourself?
UN : Partly. Partly for the joy too.
The Buddhas : Hmmm. We’d like you to soon enough…
UN : …be able to chant for myself too without anger being able to well up?
The Buddhas : Yes. Can you work on that?
UN : Of course.
The Buddhas : Cheers.

What is my Test here?

UN : I’ve been cheated. Monetary and emotionally.
The Buddhas : Yet, you have everything else going for yourself.
UN : Yes. Health, family, profession, all round comfort and joy.
The Buddhas : Except this one thing that’s happening to you.
UN : Yes. Everything else is 5-stars plus plus.
The Buddhas : So what do you think your test is, here?
UN : Looking beyond and enjoying what I have?
The Buddhas : Saying is one thing, doing is another.
UN : That one pinch spoils the taste.
The Buddhas : Your practice will bleach the effects of the pinch.
UN : After a chanting session, I don’t remember the pinch, till eventually reminded.
The Buddhas : Ask for capacity to look beyond this incident, while chanting. Soon, you’ll forget the pinch altogether.

So, What did You Notice?

The Buddhas : So, what did you notice?

UN : That after a chanting session, some kind of a joy starts to rise.

The Buddhas : And…

UN : It seems that the cells of the body are celebrating.

The Buddhas : Is it?

UN : Yes, and there are vibratory sounds in the head.

The Buddhas : Hmmm.

UN : There is extra force emanating from the forehead.

The Buddhas : What is your overall feeling?

UN : My problem has diminished.

The Buddhas : Smaller in size?

UN : Am thinking less about it. Am busy enjoying the good feeling in the body and mind.

The Buddhas : Lessened in threat value, then?

UN : I’m not scared to face it. The Karma has started to come to the fore, at accelerated speed, and my energy levels to tackle it have shot up. Issue is bothering me lesser and lesser as I keep chanting.

The Buddhas : Not that you spend much time chanting towards resolution of your this issue…

UN : Others have bigger issues. Joy levels emanating later are higher when I chant for them.

The Buddhas : You noticed that, did you?

UN : Yes. I enjoy chanting for loved ones.

The Buddhas : Be a little careful about wattage please.

UN : Wattage?

The Buddhas : Chant a wattage that the loved one is able to sustain.

UN : I see. I thing I understand what you are saying.

The Buddhas : Good. Bye.
