The Buddhas : We want to discuss those 10 minutes of your Daimoku session.
UN : Those 10 minutes when I was chanting for the success of the Buddhist movement towards world peace, right?
The Buddhas : Yes. The imagery was quite original, dude.
UN : I’m me. Do you think imagining multiple reins in one’s mouth and carrying their weight forward with the sheer force of the chant is a bit bizarre?
The Buddhas : It’s different. We don’t get that too much. What were these reins supposed to be connected to?
UN : Multiple facets of the kosen rufu movement.
The Buddhas : And how much forward did you push the movement in those ten minutes, do you think?
UN : A femtometer, perhaps. A femtometer would be good. I’ll take it.
The Buddhas : And what made you do this?
UN : I could hear you. You were asking when I was going to chant for you.
The Buddhas : Yeah, you were so busy chanting for your family that we thought you might forget us.
UN : Well, you asked, and I did.
The Buddhas : And again you didn’t chant for yourself.
UN : But I did. Chanting for others causes vacuum in one’s own system because of energy outflow towards others. This vacuum attracts positive energy from the Universe. It’s win-win.
The Buddhas : That’s indirect.
UN : In between the mind would wander to my own issues. That’s natural. These then too got registered with the chant.
The Buddhas : We see.
